BLAINE COUNTY, SA —We return to our breaking story where the Blaine County Sheriff’s Department is currently locked in a full-blown high-speed pursuit involving Tater Biscuit — and the stolen 1983 Sheriff’s patrol car he’s been illegally (but somehow effectively) driving for 30 years.
But tonight’s chase didn’t begin the usual way.
According to deputies on the scene, the pursuit began when Tater pulled them over on Route 68, walked up to the driver’s side window, flipped the deputies off, and then peeled out at full throttle.
The Sheriff’s Department described the incident as
“Unprofessional, unsafe, and 100% Tater.”
“We’re Not Hanging Back — We Can’t Catch Him.”
Earlier reports suggested deputies were keeping a safe distance due to the age of Tater’s cruiser. WFAFO can now confirm that was false.
They simply can’t catch the damn thing.
Multiple deputies have admitted, off the record, that Tater’s old patrol car is running something “way hotter than stock.”
Rumors are circulating that Tater somehow swapped in a retired #3 NASCAR motor — believed to be an old Dale Earnhardt-style V8 — giving his stolen relic more horsepower than the entire Sheriff’s fleet combined.
One deputy told WFAFO:
“That car shouldn’t be that fast. It’s from 1983. But when he hit the gas, it sounded like Talladega in July.”
Another simply said:
“We need new cruisers. Yesterday.”
WFAFO Helicopter Cam Shows Pure Chaos
Live aerial footage shows:
Tater drifting through Grapeseed at NASCAR-level speeds
Deputies struggling to keep up even at full throttle
Dust clouds so large they’re visible from the county line
One patrol SUV already overheated and on the shoulder
Tater hanging an elbow out the window like it’s Sunday afternoon
Witnesses say Tater even jumped the car Dukes-of-Hazzard-style over a drainage ditch moments ago, prompting one local to yell:
“THAT’S MY SHERIFF!”
(Important note: He is not the sheriff.)
Why Tater Pulled Them Over
Deputies report Tater gave no reason for initiating the traffic stop. He simply flipped on the stolen lightbar, pulled behind them, and motioned for them to slow down.
Dash cam audio reportedly captured Tater saying:
“License and registration, boys! Oh wait — y’all don’t have any jurisdiction over me.”
He then flipped them the bird, dropped it into gear, and took off.
Current Status
As of this live broadcast:
Chase is ongoing at high speed toward the Alamo Sea
Deputies are 3–5 seconds behind and losing ground
Highway units are attempting to set up a rolling roadblock
Tater appears fully calm and may be drinking a gas-station coffee
No injuries have been reported.
WFAFO is following the pursuit live, and updates will be provided as the situation evolves.
