Our staff exists to keep the streets fair and the RP believable. Read these rules, understand them, and follow them. If you’re unsure, ask before you act. Common sense isn’t optional here — it’s expected.

ROLEPLAY TERMS & DEFINITIONS

​

These terms define what’s acceptable and what will get you kicked off the map.

Know them.

​

OOC: (Out of Character): Talking outside the context of the roleplay world.

IC: (In Character): Everything your character says or does inside the world.

FearRP: Value your life. If you wouldn’t do it in real life with a gun to your head, don’t do it here.

Value of Life: Treat your character’s life like it matters. No reckless nonsense.

FailRP: Any action that breaks immersion or ignores logic/reality.

Powergaming: Forcing unrealistic outcomes or using game mechanics that wouldn’t exist in real life.

Metagaming: Using info from Discord, Twitch, or any OOC source to influence IC actions.

VDM: (Vehicle Deathmatch): Using a vehicle to kill or harm players without RP justification.

RDM: (Random Deathmatch): Killing or attempting to kill someone without meaningful roleplay or reason.

Combat Logging: Disconnecting to avoid death, arrest, or any in-progress RP scenario.

Cop Baiting: Trying to get the cops to chase you for no logical reason.

Gunplay Over Roleplay: Shooting first instead of creating real RP opportunities.

SuicideRP: Using suicide as a way to start RP or escape consequences.

HitmanRP: Paid killing is not allowed unless approved by staff for storyline reasons.

NLR: (New Life Rule): After respawning or ICU, your character forgets the events that led to death. No revenge.

Lootboxing: Looting random players or corpses without IC reason.

GTA Driving: Unrealistic vehicle use (off-roading in sports cars, excessive jumps, etc).

VigilanteRP: Crime fighting isn’t your side gig unless you’re law enforcement.

Low Quality RP: One-liners, half-effort scenes, or behavior that kills immersion.

Misuse of /me: Don’t use /me for actions that have game mechanics (like “/me shoots gun”).

SERVER RULES​

• English & Mic Required: You must speak and understand English to a conversational level and have a working mic.

• Age Requirement: 18+ only. No exceptions.

• Respect Staff: They’re here to help. Harassing or disrespecting staff = ban.

• No Pay-to-Win: Real money cannot buy in-game assets or currency.

• No Exploiting or Scripting: Zero tolerance. Permanent ban on first offense.

• No Third-Party Software: Crosshairs, aim assists, or visual mods that break realism are forbidden.

• VPNs/Proxies: Not allowed without staff approval.

• AFK: Anything that happens while you’re AFK is on you. Don’t target AFK players.

• Character Names: Must be realistic first and last names. No memes, no random letters.

• Respect Boundaries: No racism, sexism, homophobia, or references to sexual assault — in or out of RP.

• Whitelist Points: You may only hold up to 3 whitelist jobs total. Tier 1 (Police, BCSO, DOC, DOJ, Mechanic) count as 1 point each. Tier 2 (EMS, Casino, Venues) count as 0.5.

• One Job Rule: A single character may only work one Tier 1 job at a time.

• Alternate Characters: Cannot share assets, money, or info between each other.

• No Staff Impersonation: Don’t call staff gods, angels, or government.

• Respect the Community: Keep it mature. Keep it fun. Handle your business like adults.

 

IN-GAME RULES​

General Conduct

• No terrorist roleplay or extremist themes.

• Don’t make every storyline revolve around the police.

• No camping job or illegal sale points waiting to rob others.

• You can’t rob someone inside menus (tattoo, clothing, surgery, etc).

• No stealing emergency vehicles unless that department is online.

• Don’t loot players you weren’t directly involved with.

• Don’t clock into a whitelisted job and commit crimes simultaneously.

• Don’t interfere with ongoing robberies, chases, or hostage events you weren’t part of.

• No unrealistic property edits or “trapping” players using decor or collision.

• No swapping characters to get around RP limits or storylines.

 

Police & Pursuits

• Police involvement is limited to 2x the number of criminals in capped scenarios.

• No panic buttons during party-limited chases.

• Police can only repair vehicles at designated police repair stations.

• If your police car’s disabled, it’s out of the chase — no replacements.

 

Vehicle & Combat Rules

• Don’t pull a gun if someone already has you at gunpoint.

• Don’t repair or retrieve vehicles mid-chase.

• Don’t log out within 10 minutes of combat or RP conclusion.

• Don’t teleport or fast travel to escape RP.

• Value your life during all chases and fights.

 

CRIME, HOSTAGE & ROBBERY RULES​

Robberies

• No vehicles inside robbery interiors.

• House/Store Robberies: Max 3 players, 1 vehicle.

• Commercial/Container Robberies: Max 4 players, 2 vehicles.

• Bank/Vangelico Robberies: Max 4 players, 2 vehicles.

• Union Depository: Max 8 players, 4 vehicles.

• No external backup outside these limits.

 

Robbing Other Players

• Don’t kill a compliant person during a robbery.

• You can’t force someone to withdraw or transfer money.

• Robbery must have logical IC reason — not just random theft.

• Only take items relevant or valuable to the situation.

• Don’t rob cops or EMS just for gear.

• Must be at least 2 police online to rob civilians (illegal zones excluded).

 

Hostage & Kidnapping

• No using friends as fake hostages.

• No demanding cash payments for hostages.

• Must be at least 2 police online to take an officer or EMS.

• Max 8 participants during hostage exchanges.

• Max hostage hold time: 30 minutes (15 for robberies).

• No “hostage cycling” to extend robberies.

• No kidnaps or hostages in hospitals, PD, or DOC.

 

GROUPS & TERRITORY

• You cannot rob or kidnap people just for being in your turf.

• You can “press” players in your area if they disrespect, deal drugs, or challenge your control.

• Territory = home, not a weapon. Don’t relocate just to grief.

• Don’t create multiple groups to bypass member or perk limits.

• You can’t disband a group mid-territory contest.

• FearRP still applies when being pressed or challenged.

 

STREAMING & MEDIA

• Do not stream in staff or admin channels — those are private.

• Do not stream as a Dynasty 8 agent without client permission.

• Any recorded content must follow Twitch/YouTube TOS — no slurs, sexual content, or harassment.

 

REPORTING & STAFF CONTACT

Never break character to handle reports.
If someone breaks rules, don’t retaliate — report it.

Ways to Report:

1. In-Game (F1 Menu): For live issues that need staff immediately.

2. Discord: Join the “Waiting for Staff” voice channel for direct help.

3. Website Ticket: Submit a player report at leadballoon.gg/support. Include names, times, and any clips.

Spamming the F1 system or false reporting will result in a ban.

 

ADDITIONAL ENFORCEMENT

• Any use of crosshairs, visual mods, or unfair advantages results in a 30-day ban and full account wipe.

• Exploiting or scripting = permanent ban — no appeals.

• Repeat low-quality or troll RP = removal from the community.

• leadballoon staff reserve the right to remove any player whose behavior, attitude, or RP consistently damages the integrity of the server.
